A lack of knowledge about daily nutritional needs often makes it difficult for students to establish healthy eating habits. Nutrition plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of Human Resources (HR). Students, who are in a productive age, need to have a good understanding of nutrition to maintain their health. This study aims to assess the level of nutritional understanding among Physical Education students at Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri. Using a quantitative approach and descriptive survey method, the study involved 88 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected via a 30-question questionnaire about nutritional understanding, and categorized into three levels: good, adequate, and poor. Data analysis was conducted descriptively. The results showed that out of 88 students, 56 (64%) had good nutritional understanding, 30 (34%) had adequate understanding, and 2 (2%) had poor understanding. Most students at Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri demonstrated good nutritional understanding, indicating the need for continued nutrition education to ensure that all students have adequate knowledge of the importance of nutrition in daily life
Jhohan Surya Phamungkas M Anis Zawawi Rizki Burstiando Copyright (c) 2024 Jhohan Surya Phamungkas, M Anis Zawawi, Rizki Burstiando https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-31 2024-08-31 2 03 188 197 10.2024/ns.v2i03.2024_P188-197 Survey of Elementary School Students' Understanding of Traditional Games in the Kertosono Area https://jurnal.nusantarasporta.com/index.php/ns/article/view/98
This research is motivated by the author's observation in the area where he lives that traditional games are now rarely played. More interest in other games makes students less interested in traditional games. As a result, students' understanding of traditional games is decreasing and the existence of traditional games among students is decreasing. The aim of this research was to determine the level of understanding of 5th grade elementary school students in the Kertosono area regarding traditional games. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using survey methods. The instrument used is a questionnaire or questionnaire. The subjects of this research were 4 grade 5 elementary school students in the Kertosono area, namely from SDN Banaran 1, SDN Banaran 2, SDN Kudu 1, and SDN Kudu 2 with a total of 120 students. The results of this research indicate that students' understanding of traditional games is mostly in the Medium category. This can be proven by data on the number of students with High understanding of 34 students or 28%, students with Moderate understanding of 67 students or 56%, and students with Low understanding of 19 students or 16%.
Meilia Karonia Rizki Burstiando Muhammad Yanuar Rizky Copyright (c) 2024 Meilia Karonia, Rizki Burstiando, Muhammad Yanuar Rizky https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-31 2024-08-31 2 03 198 206 10.2024/ns.v2i03.2024_P198-206 Biomotor Profile of Alte in the Pencak Silat PSHT Sports Branch, Ketawang Village, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency in 2024 https://jurnal.nusantarasporta.com/index.php/ns/article/view/120
This study aims to evaluate the biomotor abilities of PSHT pencak silat athletes in Desa Ketawang, Kecamatan Gondang, Kabupaten Nganjuk. Initial observations indicated that female athletes exhibited weaknesses in speed, strength, agility, coordination, and endurance, leading to quick fatigue and suboptimal technical execution. The research employed a quantitative method with a series of tests, including a 60-meter sprint, push-ups, ball wall, wall squat, agility T-test, and a 1000-meter run. The results showed that 13.33% of the athletes were in the excellent category, 20% in good, 40% in fair, 20% in poor, and 6.67% in very poor. Overall, the biomotor profile of the athletes was categorized as fair. These findings suggest the need for more targeted training programs to enhance the biomotor abilities of the athletes, particularly in speed, strength, and endurance, to achieve optimal performance in pencak silat.
Aldona Kahirulloh Moh.
